libquantum8 software package provides library for the simulation of a quantum computer, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libquantum8
libquantum8 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libquantum8 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libquantum8 *
You will get with libquantum8 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
